The International Experience Exchange with Patient Organisations (IEEPO) External Advisory Committee (EAC) and the Global IEEPO core team are pleased to invite you to the IEEPO 2024 event taking place on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th March.
Titled ‘Accelerating Action: Humanising Healthcare for All’, this hybrid event will showcase actionable steps towards achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC), whilst emphasising the critical role of patient organisations by focusing on x3 key topics:
Tackling health inequalities barriers related to gender, stigma, discrimination, & geography
Leveraging evidence-based data to improve care and accelerate innovation
Policy-focused dialogue on building sustainable and accessible healthcare systems

Event Agenda Overview
Wednesday 13th March
Day one of the event will begin with an energising keynote talk from an esteemed guest speaker exploring global health. A UHC patient voice panel discussion and Q&A will follow, where speakers will debate the role of national and local level patient groups in supporting making UHC a reality.
Thursday 14th March
Kicking off the second day, we’ll begin with a reflection on activities and outputs from day one before Thomas Schinecker, CEO Roche Group, takes to the stage to share his perspectives and answer burning questions from the IEEPO community.
The final streamed session - will feature another engaging keynote talk, focusing on health policy, before an inspiring UHC multi-stakeholder panel and Q&A, where the topic of UHC will be further explored by our event speakers in an interactive format.
Please note this is a hybrid event, meaning the following sessions will be available via live stream on the dedicated event platform for registered IEEPO attendees only:
