MAKE domain

The purpose of the MAKE domain is to develop a co-created piece of content or an asset that provides a unified IEEPO community position on a priority topic that can be used by the community to engage and inspire its own constituents to make change happen, transforming the healthcare ecosystem to the benefit of patients.

The MAKE domain launched a co-created Position Paper that provides a unified IEEPO community position on the need to Humanise Healthcare post-pandemic. The Position Paper examines key issues that affect access to healthcare, including:

The Position Paper is informed by insights from the global IEEPO patient community through the IEEPO community survey and case studies provided by the community through best practice posters. The IEEPO 2021 Position Paper is available for patient communities to engage and inspire their local constituents to make change happen and transform the healthcare ecosystem to the benefit of patients.

The Position Paper was launched to the global patient community on 8 November 2021 during the IEEPO 2021: 'Think Global, Act Local' event. The position paper can be found here. 

In 2022, the Position Paper toolkit was launched which aims to equip champions for Humanising Healthcare, across the world. The toolkit contains resources and customisable support materials to make the IEEPO Position Paper on Humanising Healthcare digestible and usable in local settings. The toolkit will help to promote discussion, enhance understanding, provide evidence and plan action.
