2021 International Experience Exchange with Patient Organisations

The 13th IEEPO (IEEPO 2021) was themed ‘Uniting for Change: Transforming Healthcare Together’, inviting the IEEPO patient community to partake in a truly patient-led initiative where the patient community are encouraged to be strong and equal partners with an important voice in the healthcare ecosystem.  

During IEEPO 2021, the patient community were instrumental in shaping the IEEPO programme, contributing their voices through surveys and the guidance of the IEEPO 2021 External Advisory Committee (EAC) to ensure the events, tools and resources developed were relevant and supported the patient community in engaging with their stakeholders and decision-makers in the areas of greatest need.

Key themes included the power of data, the digitalisation of healthcare, and personalised healthcare across the entire healthcare system.
