Our Mission

The International Experience Exchange with Patient Organisations (IEEPO) provides a platform for patient communities to engage, get inspired and partner with an equal voice in the healthcare ecosystem. In 2008, a vision to provide a collaborative environment for pivotal discussions around key topics on the patient agenda was realised with the first-ever International Experience Exchange with Patient Organisations (IEEPO).

IEEPO is truly a patient-led initiative, it offers a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, find inspiration, and leave with practical, meaningful, and actionable ideas to utilize at the local level. The patient community will have an opportunity and will continue to help shape the IEEPO programme. Contributing their voices will ensure the events, tools and resources are relevant and support the patient community in engaging with their stakeholders and decision-makers in the areas of greatest need now and in the future.

The External Advisory Committee:
